Panoramic Photo

This is a panorama shot that I took at Mercy in early morning. When taking this picture, I wanted to show an inspiration from last semester's Ansel Adams assignment, while connecting that to our current Architecture theme. This photo uses a lot of value. The leaves show Low Kay Prints while the light in the sky shows High Key Prints. There is definately a lot of emphasis on the tree since it is in the middle and takes up most of the photograph. But more specifically, there is emphasis on the trunk of the tree. The trunk is on a third line and the lightness of it contrasts the dark leaves so it stands out more. I also used a lot of variety. There is concrete, grass, trees, signs, and a building all in one shot, yet it never gets distracting. They all work together in this one photo.
